Important Information to Know

We’ve developed a clear store policy outlining everything you need to know about how we operate. Please read on to find out how we provide the best customer experience for our loyal shoppers. If you have any more questions, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Each Customer should ensure they read these terms and conditions prior to placing an order with us. Please note by placing an order for any product or service from Cellar 41, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Order Process

Once a Customer places an order with Cellar 41, the Customer will receive an email receipt to acknowledge Cellar 41 has received your order and payment.
 

2. Description of goods

We endeavour to describe all items as fully as possible, to the best of our knowledge, providing as much history, age and detail as is known to us together with a full description of any discernable defects or faults. However, it should be noted that selected items that we are selling are vintage

items and as such,  in most cases, will have some age-related wear.
Each piece has its own story to tell and the bumps, scratches and marks picked up over the years add history to the piece. We provide a full description, high quality images & measurements to show each product as accurately as possible. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure the condition and presentation of their purchase is satisfactory for their personal requirements.​

Shipping Policy

How it works

 Items will be packaged and dispatched within 3-5 working days of ordering if not sooner. These items are shipped, fully insured and with tracking numbers, via our designated couriers DPD and UPS. In most cases, a signature will be required upon delivery.

For large furniture products we currently have a collection only policy from our shop in Yorkshire, however if you are in need of an item and not local to us please contact us and we can make private courier arrangements where we will be able provide you delivery quotes if possible. We will be happy to assist you with any queries/issues you may have regarding delivery.

​INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

International delivery for your order is to any country outside of mainland UK. International dispatch time is estimated between 5 - 7 working days. Each parcel will be fully insured and with tracking numbers, via our designated couriers. In most cases, a signature will be required upon delivery.

Our international delivery prices unless stated do not include the cost of customs clearance, import duties, VAT, taxes or bonds which may be applicable at various rates from time to time in individual countries. We assume all these potential costs will be payable locally by the customer.

Delivery lead time to an international address or within the UK will vary according to its destination. We will advise you of the approximate delivery lead time prior to accepting your order.

We will make every effort to deliver your order within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors or events outside our control, for example, material shortages, travel or transportation disruption, import delays or higher than anticipated demand. Cellar 41 shall not be liable for any delay or failure by us to deliver your order within the estimated timescales as a result of such delays.

Amendment to Term & Conditions

Cellar 41 stock prices may change at any time without notice.

Refunds Policy

All the details

We realise that making purchases online is not easy when you haven't seen or examined the goods. We are always happy to discuss items in more detail and, if required, will provide more detail on condition along with photographs before purchasing. We do operate a "NO REFUNDS' policy however, we as a business want you to be pleased with your purchase, but if you are unhappy with it, we would like you to get in touch with us within 7 days of receiving

the goods and we can resolve the situation. 

*Please note special orders requiring modification of an existing product or made to order items are not refundable.

*Please note, purchases made from our shop in Thurgoland, as opposed to online, are "bought as seen" and not refundable.
